Mr. Silvious is a strategic advisor in the State and Local business area of General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) with over 35 years of experience helping governments and healthcare providers develop the Standards and Interoperability for population health analytics and data sharing.  He led some of the very first projects in creating the Nationwide Health Information Network (NwHIN) with the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT (ONC), for the Statewide Health Information Network for New York (SHIN-NY).  He participated in the development of clinical quality measures for the Health IT Standards Panel (HITSP) of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), the Primary Care Information Project (PCIP) in New York City, and the Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute’s (PCORI) Clinical Data Research Network (CDRN).   He currently participates in a number of national workgroups on standards and interoperability, among them the National Information Exchange Model (NIEM) Human Services Workgroup, MITA TAC and the Centers for Affordable Quality Healthcare (CAQH) Operating Rules Committee (CORE).
