Valerie Hoffman is the Nevada Dept. of Health and Human Service’s Chief Information TechnologyManager/Chief Information Security Officer as well as the Nevada Health IT Coordinator. Valerie has over 20+ years of government IT experience and joined the department in 2015 working in various public health IT and project manager roles before her appointment as the DHHS Chief ITManager/CISO. During her tenure with Nevada’s Office of Health Information & Technology, she implemented an enterprise-wide data governance program that cataloged the department’s various data sets and created a data governance excellence program for Nevada DHHS and its five divisions.
